Hi you cool cats and kittens.
You start out with good intentions for a blog, then the nex thing you know you have not added to it in 3 weeks.
In that 3 weeks I managed to watch the Tiger King. What a show that was, if you want to see crazy then this is the program to watch, I had to be convinced it was a documentary and not made up!
So for almost the last two weeks son and I have been camping outside in the garden with daughter joining us on the occasional night. Good thing for me is that the light mornings wake me up early – so I am normally up for about 8am at the lateset which is a shocker for me. Son has asked to camp out for the rest of the year, I am tempted to let him do so. This would would cover the Bronze Zodiac Award for the Beavers.
I finally found the ideal thing to keep me busy during lockdown, Championship Manager 2001/2002. I think my wife will look for a divorce with all the time I have spent playing the game.
A game I played for hours (probably days) in my youth, has been made available for a free download. There are then updates to allow you to add modern day squads to the game. It brings back the memories of the old Champions League with two group stages, or being able to purchase players right up to March.
Somne great things have happenend already, Scotland got to meet Brazil in the World Cup final and I had a player with a transfer dates of 32nd December.
Instructions on how to download the game and set it up are available on a forum.
What your best memories of Championship Manager (or Football Manager as it later became known). Let me know in the comments.
